Lauren Gaba Flanagan currently leads marketing strategy for sports-licensed videogames at OneTeam Partners, a joint venture between the NFLPA, the MLBPA, and RedBird Capital Partners. She was previously a founder and partner in Theorycraft, a creative and strategic advisory firm sold to OneTeam in 2021. Prior to Theorycraft, Lauren was the Director of Esports and Gaming at Edelman-owned marketing services agency UEG, where she provided creative counsel on the esports space to corporate clients like Toyota and Frito-Lay. Prior to UEG,  she was a creative in the corporate marketing group at entertainment and sports agency CAA, where she worked on the launch campaign and promotional strategy for the inaugural season of the Overwatch League. 

Lauren serves on the Board of Directors for the North American League of Legends (LCS) Players Association as well as gaming content company Overcome. She is a member of the Forbes 30 Under 30 in the Games sector and has spoken on esports and gaming topics at events like SXSW, VidCon, and the Forbes Under 30 Summit. She is the former author of a weekly esports industry newsletter and has had writing appear in outlets like Flaunt Magazine. She graduated from Emerson College with a BS in Marketing Communications. Lauren was born and raised in Los Angeles and is presently based there.
